The Importance of Energy in our Daily Life
D.K. From the time we wake up to the time we go to sleep, energy has affected our lives. If we don’t have energy it is harder waking up and doing what we like to do.
Throughout this website, I have shared my personal journey. I am happy to be an open book if it helps someone in similar situations. I know what it is like to be sick and tired.
For years, I was on heart medication to regulate my crazy erratic heartbeat (congenital heart defect). I was on so many pills I had to keep a legal pad close by to keep track of them. By about two in the afternoon, I was in bed! I was discouraged because I wondered how could I serve others feeling so lousy? I truly have empathy for sick and hurting people. I have been there!!!!
With medical intervention and my strict discipline for a healthy lifestyle, I feel wonderful!!
My cardiologist has been amazed that I no longer required medication.
Fellow crew members who worked with me on flights know that I was one busy flight attendant . I was thankful I had the energy that I could serve my passengers as though “ they were a guest in my home.”
My message is to give folks hope. We do have a lot of control over our destiny. I am so thankful I got through the years of health challenges. This is pay back time. My goal is to encourage everyone to take good care of yourselves. Our Health is our Wealth!
